Dear Parents,
It was a busy, productive week. Some
of the students were attending rehearsals for Annie. The
remaining students spent time reviewing important core content
concepts. The class schedule will return to normal on Monday.
In Math, we will resume Chapter 17:
Congruence, Symmetry, and Transformations. We will complete this
chapter on Monday and have the test on Wednesday, May 30. We will
then begin Chapter 18: Perimeter, Area, and Volume. In Science, we
will begin Chapter 9: Managing Earth’s Resources. In Social
Studies, we will continue with Chapter 6: Industry Takes Over. In
English, we will continue with Unit 7: Adverbs and Prepositions. In
Reading, we will read The Last Dragon, the students will take
a comprehension and skills test over Marven of the Great North
Woods on Tuesday, May 29.
