Thank you so much for your kind contributions to the Thanksgiving lunch. It was nice to see those of you that could make it. It was a great way for us all to come together, and the children really enjoyed it.
It has been a very full week. In Math, we completed Chapter 6: Multiply by One-Digit Numbers. The test will be next Tuesday. We also began Chapter 7: Multiply by Two-Digit Numbers. In Reading, we completed Tomas and the Library Lady. The students took their test today. On Monday, we will begin our new story Tanya’s Reunion. In English, we continued our study of verbs, completing up to Unit 3, Lesson 6: Spelling the Past Tense. We will continue our study of verbs next week. In Social Studies, we completed Chapter 3: Early Farming. The test was on Thursday, and we will go over it on Monday. We will begin Chapter 4: From Field to Factory next week. In Science, we began Chapter 5: Parts of Ecosystems, covering Lesson 1 and starting Lesson 2. We will complete Chapter 5 next week.
