Greetings Parents,
We have reached the end of the 4th week. The weeks seem to be moving right along!
The students are doing very well! This week in Math we completed Chapter 2, Comparing Whole Numbers and Money. The test will be Monday. In Science, the students took their first test over Chapter 1, Life Processes. We will be starting Chapter 3, Life Cycles, next week. In Social Studies, the students completed Chapter 1, Lesson 2, learning about various landforms. We will finish Chapter 1, Lesson 3 next week. In Reading, the students took their first quiz over Akiak and we began Grandfather’s Journey. In English, we covered the different types of sentences and discussed subjects and predicates. They also continued working on their descriptive paragraphs.
