The children have been working hard so I have assigned just a little homework for the weekend:
*Please remember the book report is due Monday, December 13. Ten points will be deducted for each day it is late.
Math - 6.1 Reteach, Homework, and Problem Solving
Science - read "Another Link in the Food Chain"; you choose one of the following:
1. Find an example of an interdependent relationship, for example: the Acacia ants and tree we discussed in class: http://video.kids.nationalgeographic.com/video/player/kids/animals-pets-kids/bugs-kids/ant-acacia-kids.html, describe the organisms (living things), the relationship, and draw a picture or include photographs.
2. Pick an ecosystem we have talked about (desert, polar, temperate forest, rain forest, grassland, prairie) and identify a Producer, 1st level Consumer, and a 2nd level Consumer.
