Our fourth graders have been busy!!

Dear 4th grade parents,

I apologize for the late beginning to this year's blog.  Our classroom has been a busy place filled with activity and excitement, and I look forward to informing you of all that has been going on.

Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Stephen Ahlers, and this is my second year in Taiwan. I am excited to become a part of the HIS team, and over the past few weeks, I have really enjoyed working with your children.

I began my teaching career in the United States, where I taught Martial Arts (Tai Chi) and several ESL classes while I became TEFL certified. From there, I moved to Japan where I taught both Elementary and Junior High School. Last year, I worked as a third grade teacher, and I am very happy to be teaching fourth grade this year!

Please know that you can contact me at any time via email at ahlers.his@gmail.com.  I check my email often, and will reply as soon as possible.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

I will spend part of my holiday tomorrow updating you on what has been going on in Room 312, and will post updates often demonstrating your child's progress in class!
