The weekend is here!
It has been a busy week despite the lovely holiday for the Moon Festival. Your children are working hard in all their subjects, and practicing for the upcoming performance of "Beauty and the Beast". It is going to be quite a show!
If you have not done so, please take some time to print the script that was attached to last week's newsletter. It will really help the children to be prepared for the show. I greatly appreciate your assistance.
The homework for this weekend:
English: Complete the review handout, and study for Monday's quiz over Unit 1.
Math: Complete 2.4 Practice, Homework, and Problem Solving.
Spelling: Prepare for quiz over first 10 spelling words for "Grandfather's Journey" on p. 281 in the reading workbook.
Science: Read p. A32 - A35 in textbook, and write the vocabulary definitions.
Also, the Currency Poster due date has been moved to next Friday, October 1. The extra time is to ensure that the students have enough time to gather information and pictures to make quality posters.
